privacy policy
gotta · KHA OS LLC · last updated: 2026-10-16
The short version: Gotta is local-first. Your lists live on your device. We don't have an account system, we don't have a cloud, and we don't collect or sell your personal information. The only data that ever leaves your phone is a transaction record if you choose to buy Gotta Pro — and that's handled by Apple or Google, not us.
1 · what we collect
Nothing from your content. Your lists and their items are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us. There is no account, no login, and no server to receive them.
Purchase information. If you subscribe to Gotta Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We receive only an anonymized entitlement confirmation through RevenueCat, our payment infrastructure provider — no name, no email, no payment details.
Optional notifications. If you grant notification permission, reminders are scheduled on your device. Granting permission is optional and you can revoke it anytime in Settings.
2 · what we don't do
- No tracking, no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers.
- No selling or sharing of personal information — we have none to sell.
- No account creation, so there's nothing to breach.
3 · your data, your control
- Export: Gotta can export all your data as a JSON file, anytime, from Settings.
- Delete: You can delete individual items or clear everything from Settings. Deleting the app removes all data from your device.
- Uninstall: Removing Gotta deletes its data from your phone.
4 · children's privacy
Gotta does not target children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone.
5 · changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update it here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be noted in the app.
